About this Project
Modera's pool and amenity courtyard needed shade and architectural interest without boxing in a space designed to feel open. AAPG supplied a decorative exterior screen system, mounted overhead as a canopy across the courtyard's covered lounge and dining area, right at the edge of the pool deck.
The screen's repeating geometric pattern filters sunlight into a shifting pattern of shade below, giving the covered seating a distinct architectural identity while still reading as an open-air space. Built to hold up outdoors, the system gives the community a signature amenity feature rather than a standard flat patio cover.
