About this Project
AAPG contributed to the Hoover Dam Visitor Center in Boulder City, Nevada, with a custom millwork package that combined innovative technology and exceptional craftsmanship. The centerpiece of the project was AAPG's Panawall® Wall Panel System, featuring HPL acoustic panels that were micro-perforated to enhance sound quality while maintaining a sleek, polished appearance.
Using the InkSonics® digital process, large-format images of the dam’s historic construction were applied to the laminates, creating a stunning visual narrative that spanned multiple panels. This seamless integration of art and functionality provided a dynamic, immersive experience for visitors.
Throughout the project, AAPG utilized Carbon Zero HPL, supporting the environmental goals of the visitor center. In addition to the wall panels, AAPG designed, manufactured, and installed custom ticket booths and security booths, ensuring that every element was tailored to meet the project’s exacting standards.
This project showcases AAPG's ability to merge advanced materials, cutting-edge processes, and expert craftsmanship, resulting in a space that is both visually captivating and environmentally responsible.
