Options
Panawall offers unmatched design flexibility through a wide variety of material finishes, allowing architects and designers to tailor each installation to the unique character of a space. Available finishes include high pressure laminate, phenolic, metal and metallics, glass, real wood veneer, fabric, and natural hemp—each selected for its aesthetic appeal and performance qualities. One of Panawall’s key advantages is the ability to incorporate multiple materials within a single elevation, enabling striking visual contrasts, layered textures, and creative expression. Whether blending warm wood tones with cool metallics or pairing sleek glass with textured fabric or hemp, Panawall empowers design teams to create dynamic, multi-material wall systems that are both functional and visually compelling.
HPL / Phenolic
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) and phenolic are versatile and high-performing surface solutions, offering outstanding durability, impact resistance, and ease of maintenance. Ideal for high-traffic environments, both HPL and phenolic are preferred choices for functional and decorative applications where long-term performance is essential. With hundreds of design options—including solid colors, woodgrains, stone patterns, and metallic finishes—these materials provide virtually limitless design flexibility. And with our custom digital printing platform, we can bring any vision to life, delivering fully personalized and one-of-a-kind surfaces.
Our Panawall system is available in both HPL and phenolic, giving designers and architects complete freedom to select from the industry’s leading brands. Choose from an extensive catalog of styles offered by Carbon Zero HPL, Formipak, Wilsonart, Formica, Laminart, Nevamar, Pionite, Arborite, and Chemetal. Whether the goal is to create a bold architectural feature or introduce subtle visual texture, our HPL and phenolic offerings deliver both aesthetic impact and reliable performance.
Real Wood Veneers
At AAPG, we take pride in producing premium architectural veneers through our own veneer mill, A1 Face Veneers, located in High Point, North Carolina. For over 40 years, the A1 Face brand has stood as a benchmark of excellence, trusted by the world’s leading manufacturers of fine furniture and architectural surfaces. Our in-house production gives us full control over the quality and consistency of our veneers, allowing us to meet the exacting standards of high-end commercial and residential applications.
We manufacture and stock more than 100 species of AA grade veneer, including a wide range of domestic staples and rare exotics. Every veneer log we source is carefully selected to meet our stringent quality requirements, ensuring superior aesthetic appeal, grain consistency, and performance. We are also deeply committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability—each log is sourced in strict compliance with the CITES convention, ensuring ethical and legal harvesting practices. With AAPG and A1 Face Veneers, our clients can expect unmatched quality, selection, and integrity in every sheet.
Fabrics
We offer an extensive range of fabric options sourced from the industry’s most respected textile manufacturers, including Carnegie, Duvaltex, and Guilford of Maine. Our fabric selection spans a wide array of colors, textures, patterns, and performance characteristics to suit virtually any design vision—from refined neutrals to bold statement fabrics. Whether you're seeking high-durability textiles for high-traffic areas or luxurious finishes for upscale environments, we can match the right fabric to your project needs. Additionally, we offer custom digital printing capabilities, enabling unique, tailor-made designs, branding elements, or artwork to be printed directly onto fabric. With our expansive library and customization options, the creative possibilities are limitless.
Panawall is available in a wide range of specialty finishes designed to elevate architectural interiors with distinctive materiality and texture. In addition to traditional surfaces, Panawall can be fabricated in metal and metallics, glass, and natural hemp—each offering a unique visual and tactile experience. These specialty finishes can be further enhanced with our custom digital printing capabilities, allowing for bespoke patterns, branding elements, and imagery to be seamlessly integrated into the surface. This combination of material diversity and design flexibility makes Panawall an ideal solution for projects seeking both innovation and aesthetic impact.
Our acoustic panels are engineered to deliver exceptional sound absorption while offering a wide range of material and finish options to suit any design aesthetic. We manufacture acoustic panels in High Pressure Laminate (HPL), real wood veneer, fabric, vinyl, and natural hemp, giving designers the freedom to integrate acoustic performance into virtually any interior environment—from modern corporate offices to cultural institutions and educational facilities. Each material is carefully selected for both visual impact and durability, ensuring that our acoustic solutions perform without compromising style.
To further enhance acoustic performance and design versatility, we offer micro-perforation and nano-perforation options for both HPL and real wood veneer finishes. These precision perforation techniques allow sound to pass through to the acoustic core while maintaining a clean, uninterrupted surface appearance. Our panels are available with Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) values ranging from 0.75 to 1.00, meeting the acoustic demands of even the most challenging environments. Whether the goal is to control reverberation in a large public space or provide subtle sound attenuation in a smaller setting, our acoustic panels deliver high-performance sound control with unmatched material flexibility.
Fire Rated
Our fire-rated panels are designed to meet the highest safety standards without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. We offer fire-rated solutions in High Pressure Laminate (HPL), phenolic, real wood veneer, and fabric, providing a broad range of finish options suitable for public, commercial, and institutional spaces. Each of these panels is rigorously tested and certified to meet both ASTM E84 Class A and CAN/ULC-S102 Class A fire ratings, ensuring compliance with stringent fire safety codes in the U.S. and Canada. Whether you're designing for a high-traffic corridor, public assembly space, or transit environment, our fire-rated panels deliver peace of mind along with exceptional durability and design flexibility.
Reveal Options
The Panawall system offers refined and versatile reveal options that enhance the architectural expression of any installation. As a standard, reveals are finished in the same material as the panel faces, creating a clean, cohesive appearance. However, for projects seeking added visual depth or contrast, reveals can also be specified in complementary or contrasting materials such as metal or real wood, allowing for unique design accents and detailing. Standard reveal dimensions are 1/2" wide by 3/4" deep, but we offer full flexibility to customize reveal widths to meet specific design requirements. Additionally, we can provide edge-lit (LED) reveals, which incorporate integrated lighting elements to create dramatic lines of illumination—adding both function and visual impact to the panel system. This adaptability ensures Panawall can be tailored to suit both subtle and bold architectural visions.
Lighting
Panawall integrates lighting seamlessly into its design, offering both functional and decorative illumination options. In addition to edge-lit reveals, the system can incorporate uplighting and downlighting elements, allowing for tailored lighting effects that enhance architectural features and create dynamic visual experiences.
