About this Project
Pasadena Church called for a warm, unified wood finish that could carry from the entry all the way to the sanctuary's chancel wall. AAPG supplied real wood veneer paneling for the narthex wainscoting and for the tiered riser wall behind the altar and choir loft, giving the sanctuary a continuous, natural material rather than a mix of finishes.
The light, warm-toned veneer complements the sanctuary's stained glass and lets the wood read as part of the architecture itself, framing the altar and organ pipes without competing with them. The same finish carried into the entry paneling ties the arrival experience to the sanctuary beyond it.
